We Can Do Better: 2013 Update
Each week, nearly 11 million children under age 5 are in some type of child care setting for an average of 35 hours. Child care is an essential part of today’s economy. Parents cannot work without child care. While parents work, children need to be in a safe setting that promotes their healthy development.
